Repositioning Drugs to Improve Metabolic Control in Established Type 1 Diabetes:
The JDRF has announced a new grant opportunity for drug repurposing or drug repositioning to improve metabolic control in type-I diabetes. The majority of type-I and type-II diabetics fail to achieve an HbA1c goal of <7%. This grant seeks to fund investigators to do drug repurposing research in an effort to improve metabolic control in T1D.
