Drug Repurposing Library

The Center for Drug Repurposing has acquired over 6,000 small molecule drugs that have been clinically evaluated for in vitro screening.  This includes 2,500 FDA-approved drugs, clinical candidates and natural products that have been clinically evaluated.  Compounds in this collection generally have known mechanisms of action and known molecular targets.  Our library is formatted in 384-well format and is stored at 10mM, 5mM and 2mM solubilized in DMSO and can be dispensed at various concentrations in in vitro assays.  Please contact us for a research consultation and for information on how to access the drug set that is housed in the Center for Chemical Genomics.

Substances of Abuse Library

Additionally, we are currently building a collection of substances of abuse for in vitro screening purposes.  Compounds in this library are scheduled 1-5 by the drug enforcement agency (DEA) with focus on cannabinoids, hallucinogens, opiates (including fentanyl analogs) and benzodiazepines.  The library is planned to contain ~950 drugs and can be screened in in vitro bioassays.

FDA-Approved GPCR Focus Set.

A subset of 500 compounds from the Drug Repurposing Library that have known interactions with G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) are currently available for screening within the CCG.
